Our Story

The people behind Montez.

Built in Whitehouse around good food, genuine hospitality and the belief that a table should bring people together.

Owner · Montez Creekside Kitchen

Gloria built more than a restaurant.

She built a place where guests feel welcome the moment they walk in.

The welcome starts with Gloria.

Montez Creekside Kitchen is more than a restaurant—it’s a reflection of owner Gloria herself. With a deep love for food, community and bringing people together, she built Creekside Kitchen to be a place where guests feel genuinely welcome the moment they walk in.

Her approach is simple: serve good food, treat people well and create an experience that feels comfortable, familiar and worth coming back to. In Whitehouse, Gloria brings together great food and great company—two things she’s always believed belong together.

“Serve good food. Treat people well. Create something worth coming back to.”

Meet the chef

Chef Larios

Thirty years at the heart of the kitchen.

Chef Larios is a veteran chef of more than 30 years and has been part of Creekside since the very beginning, when Gloria first took over.

Working side by side, Gloria and Chef Larios have built the kitchen on the values they live by every day: good food, genuine hospitality and taking care of people like family. He brings consistency, care and pride to every dish.

His rotating specials are inspired by family, experience and a love for comfort food done right. Stop in and see what Chef Larios is cooking this week—you might find a new favorite.

Why Creekside

Whitehouse.
The water.
The welcome.

The creek is more than the view. It changes the pace of the evening—and it’s part of what makes Montez unmistakably itself.
